Hey fellow Deviants.

If you haven't already heard, VibrantFX is closing down permanently. Due to a string of hosting complications, our VPS (virtual private server) was terminated and all the site data was lost, along with whatever backups we had. We are very sorry to everyone who frequented the site and were a part of our family. I apologize to everyone who made the site their internet home and contributed their time, money, or resources. That being said, there is still hope for a fresh start.

Check back here and on our Twitter (twitter.com/vibrantfx) for updates regarding future plans.

Hi everyone. There have been alot of errors lately. This might clear things up.

I hear the host is going through some unknown troubles which is causing the server that VibrantFX is on to shut down or not respond. Nobody seems to know the cause but people are working to fix it. We aren't sure when the site will be back up next but it will be back. The site isn't shutting down.

Sorry again people. In the meantime, go outside and enjoy life or sit on the computer like me and avoid it.

There have been some exciting things going on at VibrantFX this summer. We've lost some of our best staff members in the last few weeks to bigger and better things, so we say goodbye to Smudge, Texeh, Munnsie, ketg, and Niika. In their absense, we'd like to welcome BytheNight (again), Eleven, and Deadpool/Goblin to the staff team and Kuro to the administration. We're approaching a major update in software (IPB 3.2) so we'll be bigger and better than ever!

Hey everybody, just wanted to make a quick update thread before I leave for a while.

Unless you haven't scrolled down three inches, you've probably noticed that the classing sections are back. Classing will be lead by Amanda, as Smudge mentioned in his update, and she needs a new team of classers. If you wish to apply for the Classing Krew, please click here and fill out the template. Classing will be a bit stricter this time around, but there will be a separate thread for that soon. As soon as a she recruits a team, classing will re-open. Keep an eye out.

Throughout the next few weeks, there will likely be a few staff changes occurring. Unfortunately, two former Sectionalists have been let go due to inactivity. RuhGz and ketg have been added to the team to replace them. Please welcome them to the team everyone!

There will likely be more open spots in the future (both GM and Sectionalist), so please check the news section frequently.

Lastly, we've never really been fans of "begging" for donations, but it seems that time may be here. Over the last few months, Smudge has almost single-handedly paid for the site in Braiton's absence. For obvious reasons, we can't keep asking him to dip into his personal funds to keep the site afloat. Server and hosting costs are running about $35 per month, which sadly is much more than we pull in from donations. If you guys have any spare cash you'd be willing to part with for a good cause, look no further. We'll be re-organizing our +Premium subscriptions soon, but in the meantime, head to our Subscriptions page to see our current paid packages. Without donations soon, the site may be forced to switch to bad hosting or even close. Not to mention the updates we have planned that we can no longer bankroll (IPB 3.2, new skin, etc). So please, if you have any money that you'd like to donate, we'd appreciate it immensely.

Also, if you'd be willing to make monthly donations, please PM me and we can work something out.
